Assessment of Asymmetrical Lower Limb Loading in the Short-Track Speed Skaters
نویسندگان
چکیده
Background. Short-track speed skaters who regularly participate in training are exposed to the occurrence of asymmetry lower limb loading.
Objective. The study aimed assess symmetry loading short track and relationship between age, experience anthropometric variables loading.
Methods. examined group consisted 20 short-track (12 men 8 women), control comprised 28 university students (14 14 women). Two scales were used loading, limb's index (LSI) was calculated. Results. In studied groups 65% 82% have LSI within normal range. Most (85%) put weight on right limb, there no clear trend among (p < 0.001). skaters, majority (83%) properly loaded their limbs, compared 37.5% women = 0.036). positive correlations found age length training.
Conclusions. Long-term asymmetric limbs causes advantage load increases especially women.

The Effects of Increasing Running Speed on Three-Dimensional Peak Angle of the Lower Limb Joints in Stance Phase
Objective: Attention can be paid to the biomechanical characteristics of running since the speed of running varies. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of increasing running speed on the three-dimensional kinematics of the lower limb’ joints in the stance phase. Methods: The research was quasi-experimental. 27 volunteer subjects ran on a treadmill and the kinematic and ...
متن کاملA Kinetic Based Analysis of the Lower Limb’ Joints with Increasing Running Speed
Purpose: Due to the paucity of the information regarding the lower limb biomechanics in slow speeds running as well as concentration of the majority of previous studies in a single movement plane, aim of the present study was investigation on a kinetic based analysis of lower limb’ joints with increasing running speed. Methods: 28 runners asked to stay on the belt speed of treadmill that was ...
متن کاملWalking patterns change rapidly following asymmetrical lower extremity loading.
The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of time needed for individuals to become well accommodated to asymmetrical changes in lower extremity inertial properties. Participants walked at 1.57 m s(-1) during four separate data collection sessions over the period of eight days. On days 1 and 7, participants completed a 60 min treadmill protocol consisting of both overground (motion a...
متن کاملassessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea
data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
